Empezó la Olimpiada de Tromso

    Este sábado ha empezado la Olimpiada de Tromso de Ajedrez con sendas victorias del equipo español en categoría absoluta y femenina.

    Ha sido realmente interesante y abrumador seguir todas las partidas en juego de la Olimpiada en el día de hoy, era difícil decidir cual ver entre casi cuatrocientas partidas ofrecidas por la excelente cobertura informática facilitada por chess24 en la página oficial del evento. Los resultados de la primera jornada en categoría absoluta han sido los siguientes:

      Escasas sorpresas como suele ocurrir en las primeras rondas por las diferencias de nivel que el sistema suizo depara en la primera ronda, aunque un error en la web oficial durante un tiempo hizo creer que Bután había ganado 4 a 0 a Luxemburgo, cuando los jugadores butaneses no disponían ninguno de ellos de ELO FIDE, ocurrió algo similar con el equipo chino en la categoría femenina que perdía claramente contra el equipo de la Asociación Internacional de Invidentes cuando en realidad los tableros estaban al revés en la transmisión, en cualquier caso no deja de ser más que una anécdota que le dio emoción a la jornada y no mancha la excelente retransmisión ofrecida. Respecto a los españoles, buenas victorias de Iván Salgado y Renier Vázquez, muy trabajada y meritoria victoria del número uno español Paco Vallejo que demostró una gran técnica en un final de torres, y tablas de la gran promesa del ajedrez español David Antón que gozó de una ventaja que no pudo materializar y que para asegurar la victoria del equipo decidió no intentar exprimir un final con peón de ventaja difícil de ganar. Por lo tanto, victoria por 3,5 a 0,5. Veamos la partida de Iván Salgado, la más interesante tal vez de la jugada por los españoles.

      Las españolas se impusieron 3 a 1 que pudieron ser 4 a 0 si Yudania no se hubiera equivocado en posición muy ventajosa, buenas victorias de Sabrina Vega y Olga Alexandrova y excelente partida de Amalia Aranaz que ganó muy rápido su partida que vemos a continuación:
    Mañana más y seguro que con partidas más interesantes en la Olimpiada de Tromso. En categoría absoluta nos enfrentamos a Argentina y en la Femenina a Moldavia. Para más información de emparejamientos en Chess-Results
